Thursday was the first Careers and Futures Fair for the pupils and parents at Samuel Laycock.
The hall was buzzing during the last period of the day when our Year 10 and Year 11 pupils accessed the hall to research the Post 16 options for them.
All the pupils had a task of working on their communication and interaction targets by starting conversations with the 17 stalls.
The aim was to find out what is out there to support them as young adults.
As you can imagine they did a terrific job with many professionals commenting on their politeness and confidence during their interactions.
At 3.30pm it was time for the parents to join the event and as a school community we would like to say a huge thank you for all those families that came.
It was a wonderful atmosphere and hopefully it helps our learners start to plan for their exciting futures.
